Super Happy with the course!! I am enrolled in a number of certificate courses across different platforms but google courses always remain my favourite...ALWAYS!! whether it is the digital marketing course that I completed just a few days ago or this ui/ux course...the courses are so easy to follow and the instructors are always so calm and the way they speak is so elegant , I always get to learn so much from the way they present themselves. Plus all the quizzes appearing out of the blue moon during the videos help me to remain focused.

Its a really great journey i must say because when i just start my journey through this course i might don't know that i get to know a lot of things in future. but when i just covering each and every topic , we do exercises , quizzes , share our experience its really great and yes i must say you have to be consistent if you love to have something in your life too well this is a course but who knows that this course will change your life and you were be there where you just thought to be. A lot of learning in this course. THANK YOU ALL .

Google has certainly raised the bar on course. I've enrolled in a few courses I found interesting and possibly helpful to my career but found them lacking in the depth of knowledge they provide or the instructor was difficult to understand.

I was starting to regret my 1 year commitment but Google's course has certainly reverted my regret. I've only completed course 1 which in it self was 4 weeks but the knowledge was relevant and easy to understand. I honestly enjoyed this course and would recommend anyone curious about ux to start here.

This first course has been very informative and interactive. I enjoy how there are explanations given as to why a question was incorrect and correct. I completely enjoyed the more in depth pages after a video that was more descriptive on the films information. The course was amazing and a great experience so far. I'm also grateful for the experienced UX designer videos. They help gain insight for how many individuals of different backgrounds and experience were able to make it to where they are now. It's very encouraging and uplifting!

This course was a great introduction to the field of UX Design. I found the content very well organized and I really appreciated having the opportunity to consume the material in different formats (video lectures + written articles). The course has a very academic feel, with well-organized content and integrated study tools like pop quizzes, written assignments and study reminders. It also has a very approachable teaching method, with inspiring talks from active professionals who discuss their career journeys throughout the course.

At the beginning of the course, I was not even sure what UX is. The course covers the very basics of UX, it would be perfect for beginners like me.

One thing I would suggest, some tests were super easy because it covered what we just learned on the previous page. I would rather prefer to flip it backwards, first test, so students can try to think what is logical and how they would approach the task, then text or a video. This way I believe students can better understand then just to memorize and quickly digest given information.

I was a designer with decades of design experience but no formal UX design experience or training.

Completing this course gave me the knowledge I needed in UX and the certification was instrumental in giving my new employers enough confidence in my abilities to hire me.

It took 6 months of job searching in a highly competitive job market to get my new role but it's a fantastic position with a great salary and creative freedom.

I highly recommend taking this course and putting in the work if you're looking for a career in design.

It's absolutely a must to do this Google UX Design course for those willing to step into the UX space. It's a pretty easy, beginner-friendly material with straightforward concepts, really well-structured and very hands-on with very practical skills you can put to work immediately. It also features great projects and the kind of things you could do that are fun to help build up your portfolio. Whether you are a newbie or looking to sharpen up your skills, this is the perfect course for kick-starting a successful career in UX!

The most fascinating aspect of the course for me was delving into the different methodologies of UX research. Learning about various research techniques, such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, opened my eyes to the depth and intricacies of gathering insights from users. Understanding how to effectively gather and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions was incredibly valuable. Exploring the different research methodologies sparked my curiosity and motivated me to apply them in real-world scenarios.

This is the best Ux fundamental course I've ever seen. Google team has done a great job by organizing the syllabus serially. My journey through this course was mind-blowing. I loved participating in the quizzes to test myself and the experience was phenomenal. I would love to thank Google and Coursera for giving us this tremendous opportunity to learn Ux design for free and also for the top-class teachers who are masters in their own fields.

I would also love to have the certificates for every single course that I'll finish.

The UX/UI course with Google provided a wonderful learning experience, offering valuable insights into UX design and its processes. I gained a comprehensive understanding of design principles, frameworks, sprints, and research. It was an incredible journey that sparked my passion and deepened my knowledge. I enjoyed every aspect of the course, learning from industry experts and applying the concepts to real-world scenarios. I am excited to continue building upon this foundation and enhancing my UX/UI design skills further.

I loved everything about this course. I have taken other courses related to UX and I have also done some team projects but this foundational course still had a lot new that I could learn. It was so detailed but yet so specific. It gave me a roadmap on how I can do better and polish everything that I am doing and already know. It is helping us learn all the skills that we'll be needing in our journey to be great problem solvers.

Very excited to see what's next and learn a whole lot of new stuff. Google is the best, always!

This course is really gret! And I like the way this course is built — having lessons in both forms for visual and audio learners. But there was one more problem as well - sometimes, information marked as different topics and provided in video and reading form was completely the same. The only thing i would like to mention is that spending a WEEK for a design sprints was a bit borring and seems like something a bit unneded for an entry level designer. Also, I expected to get a bit more foundations about design especially.

Such a great course! Before signing up for this, I had zero idea of what a UX designer was or even what user experience was. This gave me so much information without it feeling overwhelming. You will not get bored in this course, as it's very engaging. I love the fact that i can read along with the words, instead of just watching the person. I have ADHD and that definetly helps me keep my focus on what teh person was saying. Thank you so much for making these courses available to non-college educated people like myself.

A thorough introduction to UX. Google does a great job in leading beginners in the field and prepping them mentally for what it is like in the actual field. I love how everything is in my own pace and I won't be stressed about handing in things in a deadline as I balance the study with a full time job. The combination of videos, readings, task and quiz is a great learning method for someone like me who gets bored with the same learning style. Thank you Google and I look forward to learning more in the next course!

This course is a great foundational course. It is so well put togther. it's easy to understand and is the right stepping stone to get into the knowledge of UX. I love how the tutors where changed from time to time, i loved how enthusiastic they were in their communication, they made the lessons sound great and it was obvious they enjoyed talking about UX. It was always great to have ohter UX professionals share from their personal expereince in the course of the program. Basically, I enjoyed the course so much!!

Great guide for UX Design! I thought viewing YouTube videos and reading blogs on different websites would be enough. However, Google's UX course creates its blogs, videos, tests, and quizzes stress-free to help me understand the fundamentals of UX design and UX research. They're easy to understand and the reading phase during the course wasn't as boring as other websites I've read, making me engaged throughout the whole course, prioritizing clarity over brevity. Can't be any more helpful than that. I thank you.

As a fairly new self learner of UX this course did exactly what it said it would, which for me was to, introduce new terms, ideas and processes and to reinforce or got me to think more about previous knowledge.

I enjoyed the ratio and length of the videos and reading assignments, as well as the optional material. There were a variety of presenters from different backgrounds doing different UX jobs.

If you are considering taking the Google UX Certificate or even another UX course I highly recommend this course.

Learning UX design has been a valuable experience that established a strong base for my career. The guidance from Google mentors and the interactive content on Coursera helped me significantly improve my skills in user research, prototyping, and usability testing. Engaging with a global community expanded my viewpoint, and working on real-world projects strengthened my portfolio. The feedback from mentors inspired me to explore my creativity, making me excited and ready to face new challenges in UX design.

Provides a good overview of what UX Design is, what you can expect from jobs in the field and gives you enough content to complement on your own. (Of course you won't learn everything, but if you look for articles and material online you can get a solid foundation)

Also, the way everything is presented is super engaging and interesting, it had me fully connected and paying attention, taking notes as everything was valuable. Even knowing people's experiences in their journeys becoming a UXD have great value.

I really enjoy the learning through this course. Before this course i was completely blank as UX designer, Now i'm litlle bit confident about some concepts: like what is UX, what is good UX, designers careers, Product development life cycle, Frameworks like: design thinking, user centered design, five elements of UX designs, lean UX , double diamond, inclusive, equity focusd design, universal design, design sprints, accessability, portfolio etc. These all things were great. Thanks Google, Thanks coursera.

Great deal of content has been covered in this "foundation" course. Those who are aspiring to become a UX designer can see this as a great start. Very well explained and foundations have been covered as the name suggests. Some people complain that the glossary for these courses by Google includes words/terms that are only used inside Google and not used internationally as a community, but I couldn't care less about the nomenclature as long as I get to learn the concepts with tremendous amount of clarity.

Easy to understand the lesson. it's clear and very helpful for me who are new for UX design.

But would like to add some point on User experienceI found that it's dificult to notice that which stage or lesson we are looking at. Better to add color or something easy to notice. Given some scenario : When i go back to the previous and browse on the lesson and read content and would like to change lesson and then i tap the lesson that i reading because there is no icon or anything i can realize where am i now.
