I've taken both the IBM and Google Data Analytics courses, and found the IBM course to be far more engaging. Google's course was too talkative and I struggled to focus so I quit after the first Module). IBM's more technical, direct approach kept me interested throughout. Highly recommended!

This course went in depth on what Data Analysts look for in their job, what their employers expect from them, how to present data, what ways data can be presented, and other information needed to ensure their audience understands what data they have gathered, cleaned up, and presented.

I started this course completely with no idea and now I am capable of understanding terms like stuctured data, SQL, python, data lakes and so many other. This course is ideal for getting a spherical idea about the processes and tools needed in order to start a career as a data analyst!

Enjoyed getting the basic foundation. I found it difficult to understand how the different tools fit and are used, but totally understand that in this introductory format, there is very little opportunity to get to the nuts and bolts of the tools. Looking forward to those courses.

This course is really helpful for those who wants to start a career as a data analyst. But don't know about the basic skills and technical skills they need to get the job. I learned a lot from this course. And now I am moving ahead to learn programming language either R or Python.

Great introductory overview of the world of Data Analytics and the possible career paths within. As a Bioinformatician trying to switch to a new field, this course provided the insight I needed to determine where to focus my next career steps and which roles I should prioritize.

The course provided a solid grasp of data analytics concepts and tools in an approachable manner. While I do wish there were more challenging assignments, I still think it's a great starting point for beginners who want to explore the exciting world of data analytics.

The course provides detail and to the point definitions and key conscepts to the various termenologies related to Data. I am very confident that after completing the specialization I will be able to call myself a junior data analyst.
